Principios o Bases de La Educación Ambiental

• Principio Ético:

     Si bien es cierto la ética son un conjunto de normas, reglas y comportamientos que la persona hace suyas y las pone en práctica en su contexto y de alguna manera regulan la personalidad del sujeto. “Una de las metas que se plantea el principio ético es ayudar a comprender cuáles pueden ser esos comportamientos para reconciliar al ser humano con la naturaleza, y también para reconciliar a los seres humanos entre sí, rompiendo las barreras Norte-Sur que separan a ricos y pobres de forma vergonzosa”, UNED. El desarrollo de comportamientos “humanos buenos” que incentivan a la vinculación del hombre con el ambiente, van a permitir indudablemente el desarrollo de una actitud biocentrista del individuo; regularmente observamos a las personas hablando de ética y mucha de sus concepciones tienen que ver con el campo laboral, es decir ética en su trabajo, pero en realidad la ética es la vida misma, el principio ético lo que busca, como producto acabado, es la humildad y el respeto del sujeto en relación al medio ambiente con un sentido de compromiso hacia este último.

• Principio Conceptual:

     Este principio tiene como pilares dos situaciones o aspectos muy importantes que sirven para complementar el principio anterior, el primer escenario está orientado a entender cómo trabajan los sistemas naturales y sociales, es decir la estructura de estos sistemas como parte de un todo entrelazado y abierto al exterior; y el segundo enfocado en las relaciones que mantiene la sociedad con la naturaleza, esto abarca el equilibrio, la realimentación y adaptación del hombre al medio ambiente. Un ejemplo muy válido para darle una interpretación más viva a este principio es el caso de la contaminación en Ciudad Guayana Venezuela, los ciudadanos conciben el problema de la contaminación y al mismo tiempo los beneficios económicos de las empresas contaminantes (entienden cómo operan los sistemas naturales y sociales, y sus relaciones), al parecer tienen el conocimiento de que hay una problemática latente, pero falta el accionar para atacarlo y de eso se trata el principio metodológico que veremos mas adelante.

• Principio Metodológico:

     Este principio es la fusión y mescolanza de los anteriores y permite el mejor accionar para redireccionar nuestros comportamientos y conocimientos. Aquí llegamos al nivel de pensar globalmente y actuar localmente, “trabajando desde la realidad cotidiana como fuente de motivación, permitirá comprender el funcionamiento de los sistemas que nos rodean”, UNED. En este principio evidenciamos que ningún aprendizaje o conocimiento es propio sin antes ponerlo en práctica a nuestra cotidianidad, y en la medida que esto se vaya dando nuestra ética y nuestros conocimientos se van incrementando, y en el caso concreto de la educación ambiental, el accionar de los conocimientos y la modificación de la conducta humana es indispensable, pues la educación ambiental es vivencial, la esencia del principio metodológico, la forma o el accionar para poner en evidencias nuestros conocimientos y conducta humana buena en correspondencia al ambiente.

Conceptual Principle: This principle has as pillars two situations or very important aspects that serve to complement the above principle, the first stage is aimed at understanding how they work natural and social systems, ie the structure of these systems as part of a whole interlaced and open to outside; and the second focused on the relationships between society and nature, these include balance, feedback and adaptation of man to the environment. A very good example to give a more vivid interpretation of this principle is the case of pollution in Ciudad Guayana Venezuela, citizens conceive the problem of pollution and at the same time the economic benefits of polluting enterprises (understand how natural systems operate and social, and their relationships) seem to have the knowledge that there is a latent problem, but lack the drive to attack and that the methodological principle that we will see it. Methodological Principle: This principle is the fusion medley of past and allows better driving behavior and to redirect our knowledge. Here we come to the level of thinking globally and acting locally, "working from everyday reality as a source of motivation, I will understand the operation of the systems around us", UNED. On this principle we show that any learning or knowledge is itself without putting it into practice in our daily lives, and to the extent that this will give our ethics and knowledge are increasing, and in the case of environmental education, the actions knowledge and modification of human behavior is essential because environmental education is experiential, the essence of methodological principle, shape or drive to put in evidence our knowledge and conduct human good in correspondence to the environment.
